Salted Caramel Popcorn Mud Cakes

The killer cake that graced the cover of the new look Taste magazine had me intrigued from the moment I set eyes on it. A sculptural triumph of a dessert if ever I saw one, and one I was determined to recreate for my brother’s 18th birthday.

While the jersey caramel lollies were a challenge to track down (shocked at the number of people who hadn’t the faintest idea about this caramel cube of joy) – the ingredients were assembled and it was game on!
